A vehicle with Spanish blood

- Spain has never made much noise in automotive history. Today Spain has some of the legendary SEAT brand in Spain. Throughout the twentieth century Spanish automobile industry contributed much to the world of the engine, in 1954 an engineer invented barcelones Pegaso Z-102. The Z-102 became the world's fastest car in 1955 with a speed of 268km/h- Wifredo Ricart returned to his native Barcelona after World War II, flying from Italy, because they destroyed their factories and businesses out of money. The Z-102 was conceived in a time of economic isolation in Spain. By then ENASA company created on the ashes of Hispano-Suiza using the INI was limited to the manufacture of trucks and buses. Ricart, company engineer and experienced in competition with Alfa Romeo and Ferrari Enzo partner there, requested permission to manufacture high performance unautomóvil. Thus, the company could afford exportarel model, as an advertising method to publicize their products. It was also thought of a means of funding based on foreign exchange.- Ricart came from competing in Italy, where he developed V12 engines. He decided to create unmotor V8 to equip the Z-102. It was built with aluminum alloys and dosárboles cam per bank. The engine underwent two redesigns to increase its displacement of 2,500 cc to 2,800 cc and 3,200 cc after the first. As a common feature of all, which is remarkable for its time, the exhaust valves are cooled by liquid sodium.

2,500 ccThe original engine was a 90 ° V8 dry sump lubrication and 4 camshafts in total. It was possible to choose between one, two or four Weber carburettors double body upside down. It was also possible to choose between compression ratios of 7.5 to 1: 8 to 1 and 8.5 to 1. To 1953 in these figures were increased half unit due to the improvement of fuel quality.According to the variant chosen, the power delivered by the engine varies between 160 and 180CV, at an engine speed of 6,300 to 6,500 rpm. The most basic of torque amounts to 18.9 kg • m to 3600 rpm.

2,800 ccWe designed another engine, which kept the stroke of the pistons of 70 mm, but ranging from 75 to 80 mm diameter. With compression ratios of 7.8 to 1 8.2 to 1 and 8.8 to 1, the engine was able to dispense up to 200 hp at 6,300 rpm at its most extreme. The torque rose to 24.8 kg • m. It was fitted in so-called Z-102 B.There was a more powerful version. Wifredo Ricart applied his experience in Italy with superchargers, and Roots compressor coupled to this engine, which provided 0.6 atm of pressure in the cylinders. Thus, the engine gave up 260 hp at 6,800 rpm and a torque of 33 kg • m 4000 translations minute. The power increase was needed larger tires.

3,200 ccThe largest variant of the engine was mounted on the Z-102 SS. It could only be chosen with or without compressor, and power is 210 and 280 horsepower respectively. Was used to beat several brands. The most notable is that of the flying kilometer, a road test in Belgium in 1953. The Pegasus reached 245 km / h.Gta Spano

-GTA Spano is the name of Spanish supercar built by the Valencian company GTA Motor. The project, carried in secret since 2005, was born in 2008, when it introduced the model under the name of GTA Concept. After CreAcción and presentation of several pre-production prototypes GTA Motor will lead to production in 2012 in a limited edition of 99 units.

- Since 2008 a large group of engineers worked on the project under the direction of Domingo Ochoa, who has over 15 years of experience in motorsport, a key point for the technical development of the vehicle, which has several patents world (five fully processed according to the last presentation of the company) and make use of as many cars never implemented in Spanish.- In February 2008 it became the official public presentation of the project through a model, in the city of Valencia, specifically in The City of Arts and Sciences. In the same place, in April 2010 presented the first functional unit and a few days later, between days 19-25, the presentation took place in the hall official international Top Marques Montercarlo (Monaco). In August, they began testing the first prototype in the Cheste circuit. It seemed that the first units will begin to be manufactured and delivered to the end of 2010, but production was delayed. However it is planned to build only 99 units from 2012, increasing more if it is the exclusivity of it. Manufacturing is done exclusively on the ground of the Valencian town of Ribarroja Turia, which is GTA Motor Company headquarters and major facilities.
- The GTA Spano is a rear-drive two-seater that uses materials and technology from the aerospace industry. The monocoque chassis is made of carbon fiber, titanium and Kevlar, making it a benchmark in the industry. The body is also made of carbon fiber which is achieved with a weight of only 1350 kilos.- Your engine is a 8300 cc V10, located in central and longitudinal rear position gives an output of 820 hp and 960 Nm of torque in its production. An electronic power control allows the driver may control the availability of it from 450 hp to the 820 maximum. It is known that reaches a top speed around 350 km / h takes less than 2.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h.- Originally the offer two different gearboxes to be mounted according to customer preferences. Both are six-speed box, a manual and automatic sequential type other paddles on the steering wheel. Good power to weight ratio, is suitably used due to a transmission system which makes contact with the ground via a wheel composed of a set of Pirelli 255/35 and rim 19 inches at the front axle, and somewhat higher, specifically tires 335/30 and rim 20 inches in the rear je. And slowing down and stopping the vehicle handle 6 piston calipers from AP Racing origin, "biting" carbon-ceramic discs 380 mm in diameter using a system with pneumatic assistance and ABS support.

Electric Cars

Hi! I´m going to talk about the electric car that will appear this summer. It´s the Renault Twizy.

- The "Renault Twizy" is one of the cars that will revolutionize the European market this summer. May be purchased from € 5,932 in Renault dealerships. The Twizy at first seems a car fuerista but if you look inside you will see that the opposite is true.

- The Twizy is a two-seater with 2'3 m long, 1.2 m wide and 1.4 m high. The engine of this car has a maximum power of 17cv and has a range of 120 km has a small 13-inch wheels and 4 disc brakes, has a top speed of 80 km / h. It also has a gearbox with gear only to have a great driving comfort.

 - Being a car so cheap should have some drawbacks and of course it has. By having so small a range can not be made to travel, has a charging time of 3 hours and must be connected to a connector plug that is placed in garages or directly on the street, so it is checked out of mischief ...

- Twizy The prototype was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. Then he showed with vivid colors, green, red, blue, introduced in prototype stage under the name ZE Renault clinching this project as one of the brands that bet on innovation of electric cars for 1 year Renault is working on the car to it on the market and at last he succeeded. This first prototype had two side doors with a vertical opening, but the today sold the doors open as always to the side.

- Renault has signed an agreement with Spain to build the model Twizy in Valladolid until 2015. Although according to the market as it adopts this car.

Talking About Motorbikes

- One thing that I going to show you in this blog is the potential of the motorbikes respect to the cars. One example of that is one motorbike that join 3 elemental things:
  1. The reliability
  2. That has a good and competitive engine.
  3. And that it not have veru much power.
- The motorbike that join this elemental thing usually are the 125cc and 250cc. Ok that`s today I´m going to talk about, how a 125cc motorbike can compete with a 500cc or similar motorbike. This motorbike is the "Aprilia RS125".

Aprilia RS125 1997

The Aprilia RS125 was created in 1996 in Italy. It has a 2 stroke engine that runs 124.8cc, it has a Rotax engine that is one of the best 125cc engine of the generation. The first version was the 125r Maxima, then Aprilia continues making them and in 2007 they create the Aprilia RS125 Sport

The Legend of Ford Gt-40 and the Ford Gt

-There are many diferences between the Ford Gt-40 and the Ford Gt. The Ford Gt-40 was created 47 years ago and it was the fastest car in this decad, it has 6997cc with a V8 engine

-The Ford GT40 race car is a winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times from 1966 to 1969. It was built by Ford Motor Company to compete in endurance races, and so deal with Ferrari who won five consecutive times from 1960 to 1965.

Top Gear teste the Ford Gt and the Gt-40

There are a lot of diferents types of the Ford Gt-40:
  • MK 1

The Mk I was the original Ford GT40. Early prototypes were powered by 4.2 litre (255 cu.in) alloy V8 engines and production models were powered by 4.7 litre (289 cu.in) engines as used in the Ford Mustang. Five prototype models were built with roadster bodywork, including the Ford X-1. The Ford X-1 was a roadster built to contest the Fall 1965 North American Pro Series, a forerunner of CanAm, entered by the Bruce McLaren team and driven by Chris Amon. This car wins the 24h of Sebring in1966.
  •                             This is a picture of the Ford Gt-40 Mk1

    • MK 2

For Daytona 1967, two Mk II models (chassis 1016 and 1047) Were Fitted with 7.0 liter Mercury engines. Mercury is a Ford Motor Company division, and Mercury's 427 WAS Exactly the Same engine as Ford's with Different logos. A batch of wrongly heat treated input shafts in the transaxles sidelined Virtually every Ford in the race, however, and Ferrari won 1-2-3.
  •   MK 3

The Mk IV WAS built around a reinforced J chassis powered by the Same 7.0 L engine as the Mk II. Excluding the engine, the Mk IV WAS totally Different from other GT40s, using a specific chassis and specific bodywork. As a direct result of the Miles accident, the team installed a NASCAR-style steel-tube roll cage in the Mk. IV, Which made it much safer negated But MOST of the weight saving of the honeycomb-panel construction. Dan Gurney Often complained about the weight of the Mk IV, since the car was 600 pounds (270 kg) heavier than the Ferraris have raced. DURING practice at Le Mans in 1967, in an effort to preserve the highly-stressed brakes, Gurney Developed a strategy (also co-driver ADOPTED by AJ Foyt) of backing off the throttle Completely Several hundred yards approach to the Before The Mulsanne hairpin and Virtually coasting Into the braking area. This technique saved the brakes, RESULTING But The increase in the car's lap times Recorded practice led to speculation DURING the Ford team within The Gurney and Foyt That, in an effort to compromise on chassis settings, HAD hopelessly "dialed out" their car.

Welcome to my Blog!!

Hi! Whats up!, i´m José Luis and i present Xtreme Cars and Motorbikes. In this blog you are going to see inside the cars and what cars are revolucioniced the car marquet.

- Ok today I´m going to saw you the world`s fastest car that called "Bugatti Veyron". The Bugatti Veyron was created in 2005. In general the Bugatti Veyron is an incredible car with a high cuallity extras, that cost from 5.000 the cheapest to 500.000 the most expensive. It has a 16.4 liter engine with a W16 position of the cylinders it runes 1001CV and maximun speed of 417.4 KMm/h the Grand Sport Version and 431.8 Km/h the Super Sport Version.

                                                             16.4 TetraTurbo Engine

  • The vehicle's top speed is 407 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.5 s. These figures have been found in high-speed tracks, by testing the car in line. The 4-wheel drive and rear engined give you more stability and a balanced distribution of power. The braking power is at 3.2 seconds to 100 km / h, that means between acceleration and braking uses less than 5 s.

                                                        Bugatti Veyron Super Sport 16.4

  • This version considered the last to be put into production, has an improved aerodynamic kit, 1,200 hp (883 kW) and 1,500 Newton meters (1,100 ft · lbf) torque. It has a top speed of 431.072 km / h (267,856 mph), so is the production road car faster so far, despite being electronically limited speed to 257.91 mph (415.07 km / h) for protect the tires would disintegrate faster. The first five copies of a production without notice will be ready for its debut in matt black and orange color scheme, they called Record Edition. It was released to the public at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2010.

  • The Super Sport was introduced in episode 5 of season 15 of Top Gear where presenter James May attempted to establish a new speed record, achieving 413 km / h and briefly exposing a new speed record for a production car. But later in the day, one of the test pilots Bugatti (Pierre Henri Raphanel) broke the previous record of May, claiming the new record by racing in both directions (May got his record in one direction) and the registration of both races to Henri Raphael would be an average speed of 431 km / h. The car went around the test track in Top Gear leaderboard heading back with a time of 1:16.8, beating the record previously set by the Gumpert Apollo 1:17.1 Sport.
